As the COVID-19 crisis forced the cancellation of hundreds of blood drives in just the first month, the Hunter|Johnsen team worked closely and quickly with the LifeStream team to create and produce 30-second Television and Radio PSAs, in both English and Spanish. The PSAs created awareness that COVID-19 has not stopped the illness, accidents, or tragedies that occur. It only added to the need for blood donations. The Coachella Valley Economic Partnership and Hunter|Johnsen Honored for The Summit: the Valley’s Premier Business Event
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) recently presented Hunter|Johnsen with two industry awards for the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership’s Summit – the premier business event of the Greater Palm Springs area, now in its 16th year. Awards were handed out for the Summit’s Integrated Cross-Platform campaign, and included digital, social media, television, radio, print and event day collateral materials. For the fourth consecutive year, the Hunter|Johnsen team was thrilled to win Addy Awards for CV Water Counts. Two Gold Addys were awarded for English and Spanish Integrated Campaigns (which includes digital, TV, radio, outdoor, airport advertising, and print), and two Gold Addys were awarded for the English and Spanish “Every Drop Counts” and “Cada Gota Cuenta” Print Campaigns. The campaigns feature cartoon character spokesperson “Splash” giving tips on how to save water. With COVID-19’s social distancing and self-isolation guidelines topping the news, CV Water Counts and the Hunter|Johnsen team wasted no time in putting the finishing touches on Splash’s Fun Book – a 12-page downloadable book, available at CVWaterCounts.com. The book features coloring pages, mazes, and word scrambles – highlighting key tips for saving water around the home and in the yard. Splash’s Fun Book, also available in Spanish “Libro de Divertido de Splash” was promoted on social media, in CV Water Counts’ monthly ‘Water Watch’ e-Newsletter (Subscribe to Water Watch here) and through a local digital campaign to all audiences.
American Advertising Federation Delivers Two Gold Addy Awards – and “2020 Best of Digital” Award – to Hunter|Johnsen for Prime Time International
The Hunter|Johnsen team was honored to receive two Gold Addy Awards for client, Prime Time International. The first award was for a Corporate Folder and Insert Sheets, designed to provide customers with detailed information on Prime Time’s quality offerings: Bell Peppers, Sweet Mini-Peppers, Asparagus, Corn, Watermelon, Green Beans, and Tomatoes. The second Gold Addy Award – and “2020’s Best of Digital” Award was for Prime Time’s website primetimeproduce.com.
