COVID and gray skies meant a slow start to the busiest season of the year for many Pacific Northwest tourist attractions. Spokes Bicycle Rentals approached Hunter|Johnsen, with the goal of increasing their online presence. Following a series of remote meetings to (a) identify their objectives, (b) analyze the local, soft adventure customer base, and (c) current website traffic and patterns, Hunter|Johnsen presented campaign recommendations – for both creative design and a comprehensive digital buy.

The plan was initiated, targeting three general audiences – families, friends and couples – in neighboring cities. In just a matter of weeks, Spokes had more 45,000 page views, and a significant spike in online reservations. The campaign continues.
